~ Phase One - Survey ~ All great designs come to fruition when people with vision join forces and share great ideas. That's why we start all our custom designs with an on-site owner interview. We discuss your desires, complete a site analysis for an initial layout of the improvements and combine this with a review of the decor and landscaping currently in and around your home. Finally we balance all the collected information and create a rough sketch within your budget constraints. Often we can develop the general idea even during the initial meeting. But occasionally, with more complex layouts we may need a second meeting to make a few adjustments.
~ Phase Two - Collaboration ~ Next our design team develops a preliminary design and general budget proposal that defines the project boundaries based on the owner outline. This is the time when all aspects of the project are brought together. Your general contractor will do a review of the preliminary drawings and determine any building code changes that need to be made for approval of the project in your specific area.
~ Phase Three - Synthesis ~ Once the preliminary design is approved we complete a set of "Construction Documents" which can then be used to build your dream project. You can build with confidence and peace of mind knowing that the final result will be all you envision, a safe relaxing and enjoyable place for your family and friends.
